QinetiQ Award Contract for the Telemetry Update/Upgrade of UK Ranges

Safran Data Systems, formerly Zodiac Data Systems, with their UK partner Photo-Sonics International have been awarded a contract by QinetiQ UK for the upgrade of the UK MoD range telemetry.

With the supply of new hardware and software, this contract will increase the remote control capability between QinetiQ sites, address equipment obsolescence, and improve Availability, Reliability and Maintainability of QinetiQ’s telemetry capability, as well as ensuring an operational life span of no less than ten years. This is enabled by the delivery of Telemetry tracking antenna, receivers, recorders and collimation systems, all being remotely controlled by TMC (Telemetry Mission Controller), Safran’s Monitoring and Control software.
