Image Systems release TEMA T2024a
2nd January 2024:
Image Systems are Photo-Sonics' long term partners for motion analysis software. Image Systems recently announced TEMA T2024a, the latest release of the worlds leading software for motion analysis.
Along with 92 bug fixes for increase stability, here are some of the new features added.

Rigid Body Motion Removal for DIC
An improved function to remove rigid body motion for DIC. This automatically removes the average motion of the object and can be used to obtain displacements and other measurements.
Can be reached from the DIC top menu.
Custom Point import introduced
It is now possible to import Point-Sequences from a configurable ASCII format. These sequences can be loaded as 2D, unscaled or scaled sequences, or 3D sequences which can be plotted against other data. This data can be used for coordinate system definition and plottable analysable data.
Virtual Planes
New functionality for 3D and 6D analysis where Virtual Planes can be placed out in reference to existing objects and coordinates. These planes can be used for distance calculations, and figuring out exact behaviours of points and targets in a dynamic environment. For cases where there are boundaries on how certain objects move, or where displacement in certain directions are imported, this can be a very useful tool.
Improved DIC Tracking
DIC-tracking has been improved and sped up for cases involving gradual rotation.
It is possible to set up custom directories for use with Camera Control together with archive object attributes-contact us for more information.
