The PSI-460R has been used by many customers for a variety of applications: Airborne Monitoring both internally and externally. Mechanical Process Monitoring etc. The time has come for the camera to be updated and improved. Maintaining the small design and footprint of it's predecessor, the PSI460RIII now reduces the number of connectors to one, single MIL-STD type.

PSI-460RIII Ruggedised Airborne Video Camera

The PSI-460RIII is ultra-compact, and has an integrated ¹/³ inch CCD colour camera ideally suited for a wide variety of applications such as airborne surveillance, machine vision, multimedia and remote monitoring. The PSI-460RIII is designed so that a video output signal can be obtained by providing a power supply of 12/28 V DC. Its ultra-compact, one-piece design eliminates the need for a bulky CCU (Camera Control Unit), allowing the PSI-460RIII camera to be easily installed in space-restricted areas. In addition, the PSI-460RIII camera uses a unique, compact special mount.

The rugged design is complete when used with the purpose designed lenses and clamps thus ensuring no change in image focus due to shock or vibration. Other lenses can be fitted but their ruggedness is not maintained without using clamps.
